The family that prays together...
                                                  ...stays together.

LEARNING to pray with your heart sounds very simple when you think about it but it takes much practice to really know when you are doing this.

There are two basic things you need to know in regard to this.  Here they are:

1.  Slow down.  Read the words you are saying slowly and hear what they are saying.  Listen to their sounds and reflect on the meanings of the words and phrases.

2.  Speak the words as you were speaking to someone in front of you.  For example:

Take the words:  "I address you as my Savior"

Think about how you would say this if Jesus were standing right in front of you and you were speaking to him.  Ask yourself this -- would you want to sound repetitious and robotic or warm and loving?  Think about your tone and voice.  How would you want to sound?

That's it.  Start here and GOD will do the rest.  Seriously, HE will.
